POLICY

Please read carefully

Registration

  • There is an annual non-refundable registration fee of one hundred dollars ($100) per family which secures a spot on our waiting list.

  • The registration fee and first month's payment are due at the time of registration to secure our services. Registrations with full payment are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Pre-payment is required before transportation service can begin. For the safety of our drivers and passengers, we do not accept cash

Performance

  • Upon acceptance of the contract, T4T also DBA Taxii4totsnteenz agrees to provide transportation to and/or from the designated location.

  • Transportation shall be provided in accordance with the rules and regulations applicable in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, Union County, Indian Land, Fort Mill and Surrounding areas and the state of North & South Carolina. Though we will always strive for on-time performance, please note pick-up/drop-off times are + / - 15 minutes of scheduled times (s) due to traffic, weather conditions, late children, mechanical problems, etc.

Inclement Weather

  • We will not operate during inclement weather. We will follow recommendations etc. of the Mecklenburg, Union, and Surrounding counties.

  • Days not used due to the counties serviced inclement weather can be rolled over and used within the next calendar month. If days are not scheduled and used within the next calendar month days will be lost without a refund

Wait Policy

  • The driver will wait up to 5 minutes of the scheduled pickup and arrival time, after that late fee will start at $3 per minute for up to 5 minutes. After the -7-minute wait driver will leave without a refund to the customer.

Lost & Found

  • We will make every effort to return lost items to the owner, but we are not liable for any missing or damaged items left in our vehicles.

Scheduling

  • Cancellations should be phoned or texted into our office 24 hrs. in advance.

  • Any cancellations or significant changes made within 4 hours of scheduled pickup time are subject to additional charges.

  • Please DO NOT EMAIL A CANCELLATION NOTICE.

  • Changes to original schedule are subject to seat availability and may result in an additional service charge.

  • Do not give changes or cancellations to drivers. Drivers are not permitted to accept changes or cancellations, nor will they be held responsible for making $100changes to a passenger’s schedule or route.

Passenger Safety & Behavior

  • Seat Belts are always to be worn. NO exceptions.

  • Passengers must remain seated while vehicle is moving.

  • DO NOT board a moving vehicle.

  • During pick up, transport, &delivery; passengers must obey the driver. In some instances assigned seats may be noted.

  • Throwing objects inside and outside vehicle is prohibited.

  • Head, hands, and arms must always remain in the vehicle          .

  • Destroying of company property or other persons property is strictly prohibited. Passengers/parents/guardians are liable for any damages they cause.

  • Passengers and parents must be respectful and courteous to others. Inappropriate behavior including bad language is prohibited.

  • No horseplay or bullying will be tolerated. No gum, eating, or drinking in the vehicle.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited.

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend service for passengers who do not adhere to our safety and behavior policy without refunding monies for services paid for.

Safety

We take safety seriously.  We are compliant with both North Carolina and South Carolina state Laws and Requirements. Each driver and passenger are required to wear seat belts while being transported. Our policy will not allow the vehicle to begin or continue a ride if passengers are not wearing safety restraints properly.

Rider suspension - Code of conduct

  1. The first incident shall result in a discussion/warning to the rider.

  2. The second incident shall result in an email and /or phone call to the parent/guardian. 

  3. The third incident shall result in a suspension of riding privileges.

  4. No fees shall be refunded due to suspensions or termination of the contract.

Our Drivers

What you need to know

Before becoming a driver for Taxii4Tots dba Taxii4totsnteenz, and/or any of its subsidiaries you must meet strict requirements. They include, but are not limited to:

Driver Requirements

  • At least 22 years old.

  • At least 3-5 years of driving experience

  • Possess a valid NC DL (Drivers License) and a Clean Driving Record.

  • Pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

  • Pass a pre-employment drug test.

  • Agree to periodic drug test  as defined in company policies and procedures.  

Driver Safety

Each driver is equipped with a cell phone for emergencies.

The vehicle is equipped with safety equipment and emergency equipment.

We will maintain our vehicles regularly and consistently.

The entire fleet will undergo detailed safety inspections (Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall)
